Child of Wales Award

We are beyond honoured to have been named the 

Outstanding Charity of the Year at the Child of Wales Awards 2025.

This award recognises the heart and soul of Megan’s Starr Foundation a charity built from loss, driven by love, and powered by the voices of young people determined to change the world around them.

From day one, our mission has been to create a space where mental health support feels human, inclusive, and full of hope. A place where young people who feel overlooked or misunderstood can find purpose, skills, community — and above all, belonging.

This award recognises:

• The young people who’ve turned their pain into purpose
   
• The families who’ve stood with us through heartbreak and healing
   
• The volunteers who show up, week after week, to be someone else’s safe space
   
• The belief that no one is too broken to begin again
   

This win is for all of you.
And most of all, it’s for Megan — whose light still guides every step we take, and whose name will forever be a symbol of change, courage, and compassion.
